Some areas already of the Park are in full colour; but in others areas the trees are just starting to change.
Out on the trail last evening we came upon this doe and her fawn. The fawn was gone as soon as we came around the corner but her Mom stayed to checked us out.
If you have time off this month, check our Web Specials for September Weekend openings and Mid-Week Specials.
If you can't make it out to the Park this fall, put it on the calendar as a Must Do for next year- “September visit to the Whiteshell”.

and What a Weekend!
We started the season with a beautiful May Long Weekend and now are heading into Fall on a high note.
This is the time of year that SUNSETS excel.
We took a drive through the park last night and captured this red delight not to far from the Pine Point Hiking Trail.
We made it back just in time to catch the sun going down over the lake.
Looking forward to the fall season; the sunny afternoons, invigoration walk in the woods and evenings in front of a cozy wood fire.
Check out our Fall packages.
Stu and I headed out before we opened up this morning, and enjoyed an hour "just catching the breeze".
As we took off from the dock we spotted this eagle at the far end of the lake. It was just a speck that we followed as it flew up the length of the lake... accomplishing that even before we reached half way across. Brereton is 8km long and 4.5km wide. It landed in this tree on the far north end of the lake. Amazing how fast the eagle flew the hole length of the lake.
